1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between Mediexplore S.A.S. (hereinafter, “the Company”) and any natural or legal person who uses the services offered through the company (hereinafter, “the Client”). By using the services of Mediexplore S.A.S., the Client fully accepts the terms and conditions set forth herein.
2. Services
Mediexplore S.A.S. offers medical tourism services that include, but are not limited to: booking airline tickets, scheduling medical appointments with specialists, transportation, lodging and post-surgical care. The company is committed to provide a quality service and to comply with the standards established in the industry, regulated by the superintendence corresponding to each service and the client is committed to provide timely and truthful information on each occasion, in addition to making payments according to the stipulated commitments.
3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservation In order to guarantee the availability of the services, a payment of 20% of the total value of the tourist package will be required as an advance payment, which will not be refundable whenever the cancellation is not due to medical specialties.
- Postponement: The Client may postpone the dates for up to two (2) months, as long as he/she notifies the Company at least 15 days in advance and will be responsible for the additional expenses incurred in some of the services such as the reservation of air tickets.
- Full payment: The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed means of payment, at the same time you contact your consultant upon arrival in the country; for the start of the provision of medical services must be paid in full.
- Modifications: Any modification to the reservation after it has been made may generate additional costs, you should consult the same with your advisor in charge.
4. Cancellation
- Before the trip: In case of cancellation by the Client before the start date of the trip, the advance payment will not be refundable.
- During the trip: If the Client decides to interrupt the trip before the scheduled date, there will be no reimbursement for services not used.
- Force majeure: In case of force majeure, such as natural disasters or pandemics, both parties may terminate the contract without liability.
5. Liability
Mediexplore S.A.S. is not responsible for:
- Third party services: Services provided by third parties, such as airlines, hospitals or accommodation providers, are subject to their own terms and conditions. In case of cancellation by the Client before the start date of the trip, the advance payment will not be refundable.
- Changes in itineraries: The Company reserves the right to change itineraries or suppliers in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances.
- Medical conditions: The Company does not guarantee specific medical results and is not responsible for any medical complications that may arise, medical liability shall be recorded in consents prior to medical treatment and shall be doctor-patient confidentiality.
- Warranties: The Company puts under knowledge of the client that the medical procedures do not infer in guarantees under any circumstances, as well as the dissatisfaction of the result of the same and suggests to make the best possible medical consultation with the third party contracted for the service and thus reach the best possible agreement, under clear expectations and achievable goals.
- Specific visas: The Company is not responsible for informing clients about special documentation requirements such as: passports, visas, vaccination, permits and others that may be required by airport authorities.
6. Medical Information
The Client agrees to provide complete and truthful medical information. The Company will treat this information confidentially, in accordance with current regulations and our personal data processing policy.
7. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or fulfillment of these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved amicably. In case of not reaching an agreement, the parties will submit to the jurisdiction of the courts which will act in accordance with the laws of the Colombian constitution.
8. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Colombia.

9. Modification of Terms
Mediexplore S.A.S. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The changes will be notified to the Client through the established communication channels and published on our website for permanent consultation.
